Schemes launched by the Narendra Modi Government
Various welfare schemes have been started from time to time by the Prime Minister of the country, Mr. Narendra Modi in the interest of the nation. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
This is a nationwide campaign to clean up the streets, roads, and infrastructure of India’s cities, towns, and rural areas. The campaign was launched by the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on October 2, 2014, on the 145th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.
The goals of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan include:

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (Prime Minister’s People’s Wealth Scheme) is a financial inclusion campaign launched by the Government of India in 2014. The goal of the scheme is to provide access to financial services, such as bank accounts, insurance, and credit, to the unbanked and underserved population of India.
As of 2021, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana has been successful in providing bank accounts to millions of unbanked individuals in India, and has helped to increase financial inclusion in the country.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
This is a scheme to provide free LPG (cooking gas) connections to poor households in India, with the aim of reducing indoor air pollution and improving the health of women and children. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (Prime Minister’s Lighting Scheme) is a scheme launched by the Government of India in 2016 to provide free LPG (cooking gas) connections to poor households in India. Atmanirbhar Bharat Employment Scheme
Self-reliant India scheme has been launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 12 November 2020. This scheme was launched keeping in mind the huge unemployment due to Kovid-19. Through Atmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana under PM Modi Yojana, the government will provide subsidy to all those establishments which will make new recruitments. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage new employment. Employment in the country will increase through the Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana. Till now the self-reliant India campaign has become 1.0, 2.0. First Self-reliant India campaign 1.0 was started, after the success of which the government started Self-reliant India campaign 2.0
Make in India
Make in India is an initiative launched by the Government of India in 2014 to encourage foreign companies to invest in and manufacture in India. The goal of the initiative is to boost the country’s economy and create jobs by making it easier for companies to do business in India.
Under the Make in India initiative, the government has implemented a number of reforms to improve the business environment in the country, such as streamlining regulations, improving infrastructure, and promoting innovation. The initiative focuses on 25 sectors of the economy, including aerospace, automobiles, biotechnology, construction, defense manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana
A decision has been taken by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to take forward the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. Through this scheme, more than 80 crore poor families of our country will be given 5 kg rice or 5 kg wheat for free by the government for 5 months. The central government has extended the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana till March 2023 in the cabinet meeting.
Due to the extension of the period under this scheme, now the beneficiaries will be provided wheat and rice free of cost till March 2023. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has been done by the central government to provide benefits to the poor through free ration during the time of corona virus infection.
Prime Minister Mudra Loan Scheme
The youth and small businessmen of the country need money to grow their business. Many of these people do not even get loans. Narendra Modi’s government launched the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Scheme 2023. This scheme is more useful for those people, who are not able to get bank loan to start their business due to not being able to fulfill the rules of banks. Loan is given in three phases under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Yojana.
