E Shram Portal
National database of 38 crore unorganized sector workers will be prepared through E Shram Portal which will be seeded from Aadhaar. Procedure to register on e Shram Portal
To register e-shram card, one has to go to CSC (Common Service Center) and e-shram portal. Eligible people can apply from here or can also do e shram card self registration. Whose simple steps are being told here.
- First of all you have to go to the official website of E Shram Portal – register.eshram.gov.in
- Now the home page will open in front of you. After that on the home page, you have to select the option of ‘Self Registration‘.
- you have to enter your mobile number which is linked with an Aadhar card. After that, you have to fill in the captcha code.
- After filing all the details, you have to select the option of YES / NO for EPFO and ESIC.
- Then you have to click on ‘Send OTP‘.
- Now you will receive an OTP. Enter the OTP in the asked Section.
- After submit OTP, enter your Aadhar Card number and click on Accept the terms and conditions and Click on the Submit button.
- After complete this process, upload all the documents.
- Your registration will be completed on E Shramik Portal.
How to Download e-Shram Card?
After filing the application to obtain the e-Shram card, follow the below process to download the e-Shram card:
- Visit the e-Shram portal.
- Click on the ‘Already Registered’ tab and select the ‘Update/download UAN card’ option.
- Enter the UAN number, date of birth, captcha code and click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button.
- After you need to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and click on the ‘Validate’ button.
- Confirm the personal details that appear on the screen.
- Click on the ‘Preview’ option to verify the details entered, and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- An OTP will be sent to the mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify’ button.
- The e-Shram card is generated and displayed on the screen.
- The e-Shram card can also be downloaded by clicking on the download option.

What is UAN number?
