UP Samuhik Vivah Yojana – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started a new scheme for the poor daughters of Uttar Pradesh. Whose name is Uttar Pradesh Collective Marriage Scheme, in which all the BPL card holder families living below the poverty line can take advantage. UP Samuhik Vivah Yojana 2023
This scheme has been started by the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department. Under which financial assistance will be given by the government for the marriage of the daughters of those families, economically weak families can get the benefit of this scheme. Such young men and women living in Uttar Pradesh who are unable to get married due to financial constraints, all of them can apply to get married under this. Widow and divorced women will also be included under Samuhik Vivah Yojana. Every beneficiary is provided financial assistance of ₹ 51,000 by the government.
The target set by the UP government is to conduct mass marriages of 15,000 couples by 2023, and a total of Rs 77.87 crore will be spent on this. - The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
