Rajasthan Mukhyamantari Gas Cylinder Yojana – Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is running various schemes to provide relief to the people of the state from inflation. The Rajasthan government has organized inflation relief camps, in which the name of the Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Yojana has been changed. Now this scheme will be known as Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme. Due to which the needy families will be given relief from inflation through public welfare schemes.

Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has to provide gas cylinders at a cheaper rate for the poor and BPL card holders. Earlier people were asked to pay 1100 rupees for cylinder, now they will get GAS Cylinder for only 500 rupees. A subsidy of Rs 610 per gas cylinder will be given by the state government. While those with Ujjwala connections will be given a subsidy of Rs 410, which will be sent directly to their bank accounts. For this, the state government has made a budget of Rs 750 crore.
Through Rajasthan Gas Cylinder Yojana, more than 73 lakh families of the state will get benefit. From April 1, 2023 everyone will start getting its benefits. To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to get the registration done, only after which the subsidy will be given. With this, all the beneficiaries will have to link their Aadhaar card with the bank, in which the subsidy amount can be sent.
Full money will have to be paid
To take advantage of subsidy under this scheme, after registering, link your bank with aadhar card. However, whenever BPL and Ujjwala connection holders take gas cylinders, they will have to pay the full amount. After which the subsidy will be deducted and transferred to your bank account.
Whenever you buy a cylinder, you will have to pay the current rate of Rs 1106 for a gas cylinder. If there is a BPL holder then Rs 610 will be sent directly to the bank account while Rs 410 will be sent to the bank account of Ujjwala connection holders, although this amount will keep changing, but the cylinder will be available in Rs 500 only.
Eligibility for Rajasthan Gas Cylinder Scheme

- Only the natives of Rajasthan will be eligible to get the benefit of the gas cylinder scheme.
- BPL card holders and Ujjwala connection families can apply for this scheme.
- To avail the benefits of the scheme, the bank account of the connection holders should be linked with the Jan Aadhaar card.
- General domestic consumers will not get any discount on LPG gas cylinders under this scheme.
If you are a resident of Rajasthan state and have BPL / Ujjwala connection, then you can get LPG cylinder filled in just Rs.500. In earlier times, a cylinder of 1150 is available, but after registering in Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Yojana, a subsidy of Rs. 410 to Rs. 610 will be given per gas cylinder.
