LPG Gas Cylinder Price Today : The price of LPG gas cylinder varies daily. For your information, let us tell you that this month, the rate of sub2sidized and non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 50 for 14.2 kg and also by Rs 101 in 19 kg LPG cylinder. LPG Gas Cylinder Price Today
The central government has been increasing the prices of gas since 2014, even the subsidy has been completely abolished. Because of which everyone has to take expensive cylinders. Due to which the poor people have become very bad, even 80% of the people who were given free gas cylinders under Ujjawala Yojana, stopped refilling their gas cylinders.
At present, the central government has announced a subsidy of Rs 200 in domestic gas. Only the people of Ujjawala yojana can get the benefit of this. This subsidy will be directly transferred to the customer’s account.

Government has given new subsidy on LPG cylinder
The central government had stopped the subsidy for all consumers from June 2020. Along with this, the people associated with Ujjwala Yojana were also not being given subsidy, but due to the upcoming elections and the performance of poor people, the government has announced a new subsidy.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman in a tweet on 22/05/2022 said, “We will give subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder to over nine crore beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. It will help our mothers and sisters. Its revenue will be around Rs 6,100 crore in a year.
Following the decision taken by the central government, the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will be given a subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder directly credited to their bank accounts and the effective price for them will be Rs 803 per 14.2-kg cylinder.
The government has also reduced the prices of petrol and diesel, the government has reduced Rs.8 on petrol and Rs.6 on diesel, due to which inflation can be reduced a bit, along with this the government has done this to reduce the rising inflation.
