Bihar Balak/Balika Protsahan Yojana
At present, this scheme is being operated properly in the state of Bihar. Under this scheme only students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes will be given benefits. All the students who pass the 10th class board exam with first class division will be given ₹ 10,000 as incentive amount by the state government, which will be given to the bank account of the students through direct benefit transfer.
Only those students whose annual family income is up to ₹ 150000 or less will be able to take advantage of this scheme. The process of application in the scheme has been kept both online and offline.

The aim of the government is to get the benefit of this scheme to the maximum number of promising students. So that the students can be encouraged to study further. - Such students will be eligible for the scheme whose annual family income is less than ₹ 150000.
