Earlier its name was Mahakaushal Nurses Registration Council, which was changed to Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council in the year 2005.

For your information, let us tell you that MPNRC registration will have to be started. From which admission can be found in Nursing College. From 1956 to 1980, only 56 educational institutions were operated across India. Most of these were government schools, nursing colleges and ANM training centres.
It is the goal of the central government to make medical facilities easily accessible to all in India. For the fulfillment of this objective, at present about 450 nursing schools, colleges are running under MPNRC. Many courses like ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing are being run in these nursing colleges. Government ANM and GNM training centers allow only female students while private colleges allow both male and female trainees together.
