Jharkhand Kisan Samriddhi Yojana : Farmers have to face many financial difficulties while irrigating their fields. Which has an impact on the income and crop production of the farmers. What is Jharkhand Kisan Samriddhi Yojana?
Kisan Samridhi Yojana is an ambitious scheme of the Jharkhand government under which solar powered irrigation equipment is being provided to farmers to help them in agricultural irrigation. The government is giving 90 percent subsidy on the purchase of solar pumps. The farmer has to pay only 10 percent of the amount.
The Jharkhand government is running the Kisan Samridhi Yojana. Under the Kisan Samridhi Yojana, farmers are provided with irrigation equipment with 2 horsepower motor as well as irrigation equipment with 5 horsepower motor. Eligible farmers of Jharkhand state can apply online to avail the benefits of this scheme. So far, 15 thousand farmers from the state have applied to get solar pumps.
Jharkhand Kisan Samriddhi Yojana Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be a farmer, self-help group, cooperative organization registered in Jharkhand.
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
- Applicant hame a valid Aadhaar card and Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Must have access to land near a water source.
- Only one member per family is eligible for the benefit.
- Farmers from any other state cannot avail the benefit of this scheme.

While applying, all the information has to be entered correctly in the form. Along with this, while applying, all the farmers have to do e-KYC of ration card and Aadhar card. Only after this the farmers get the benefit of the scheme.
Under the Jharkhand Samridhi Yojana, 2 HP and 5 HP solar powered pump sets will be provided which are very useful for the farmers. Using this, farmers will be able to irrigate their crops easily. Under this scheme, individual beneficiaries will be given the benefit of subsidy only once.
